We Are Here to Help You

     Since 2019 New Life Pantry has operated as an Adventist Community Services Center with the mission of “Serving communities in Christ’s name.” By the grace of God and with community support the all volunteer staff are blessed to assist numerous neighbors primarily in Jefferson County, AL. Drive-thru service is available 3rd Saturday 2 – 4 pm; other times by appointment 205.754.1823.

     All services/activities/events are supported in part by private donors and New Life Seventh-day Adventist Church – Fultondale. Primary sources: Food – Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, and Target (Fultondale); Baby diapers & wipes – Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank; Adult diapers – We Sew Love. Stress support services are mainly funded by Versacare Foundation and the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham (Dwight Beeson Fund). Additionally, Since October 2023 UAB AmeriCorps Food Security Program has provided a VISTA member to assist with building capacity and sustainability.

    The New Life SDA Church (Fultondale) operated by the South Central Conference, is affiliated with the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (EIN 52-0643036) and thus covered by our group exemption (GEN 1071). Therefore, gifts and grants to this institution qualify for deductions under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. It is classified as an organization that is not a private foundation as defined in 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code.
